Layman's terms, you have three horses that pay as such 1st leg: $8.00 2nd leg: $5.00 3rd leg: $15.00 a $2 parlay would pay $150 ($8-$20-$150) You roll over the winnings of the 1st leg into the 2nd leg, into the 3rd leg. A show parlay is actually the most popular way. I did this with a friend one time, screwing around, and we turned $10 into $500, hit 14 horses to show in a row, was pretty nuts. Our only rule is that the horse had to be over 3/2 for us to bet it to show |

![]() What I get into arguments about regarding people arguing about win parlays is when people play a $1 pick three ticket 3 horses/4 horses/2 horses, and they try telling me that the $2 parlay would have been paid such and such, and they aren't considering that they would have had to ACTUALLY bet 3 horses in the 1st leg, and 4 horses in the 2nd leg
