Default Is this a common trainer move?

Foolish Bid worked yesterday over the Belmont Training Track,

FOOLISH BID (KY) 37.48 b 5/10

and proceeded to finish second in the 7th today at 12.5-1 over the inner.

A smart move by Shug or a misidentified horse yesterday at Belmont?

back in 'the day' a horse used to work the morning of a race. of course, they used to run days apart as well, racing kept a horse fit, not the works they use in this day and age.
funny, more races available, and the top horses run less often.

as for this horse, i would never question anything shug did with any horse ever.

be careful what you wish for...that bench next to the barbeque has turned many into little more than pie grubbing degenerates.

Not to mention carrot cake-aholics...

I don't know about that now. I mean there might be a few unsavory characters, LOL. Pie? I didn't see any pie! LOL.

Anyway, I saw the Montreal smoked meat sign and just got a smile on my face. I started to tell my wife about it and how when I was in Montreal it was my favorite thing -- that and Canadian beer after they told me about it, LOL. So, I take my wife over to the BBQ and I guess we stood out a bit as we were dressed for the box seat area. Next thing we know we are hanging with Steve, talking about Montreal, horses and more. So he invites us to one of the seminars gives us some of the sheets and makes us feel right at home . . . with the unsavory characters. Just kidding.

Steve, his friends and the seminar hosts made us feel very welcome and treated us extremely well.

Eric

Used to call it a blow out. If the horse was too fresh, took the edge off. Used to get the next days DRF to catch late workouts that didnot make it in to that days form. Back when i used a drf.
