Default New York's Bizarre Palm Sunday/Easter Sunday Racing Blackout

I can't believe the year is 2015 and New York State, of all states in this country, still has wagering on racing closed on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday, including all ADW's.

Of course, what makes this law completely inexplicable is the fact that the Resorts World Casino, conveniently located on the property of Aqueduct racetrack, is open for casino wagering.

It is time for the racing industry to get this illogical law taken off the books in New York.

Wow. I thought it was just NYRA Rewards that was closed but Xpressbet just informed me they're not allowed to take bets from New York residents when I went to bet the Laurel Pick 5! Absolutely insane. I have to miss out on a great investment because of some weird statewide Catholic guilt?

It is no big deal, Joe. It is only an antiquated ridiculous arbitrary rule that Steve Crist has written about several times which prevents an entire State from enjoying an activity they enjoy based upon an absurd premise.

Yet, it appears to be an opportunity for a couple of trolls to take a pot shot without logic or a scintilla of cleverness in doing it.
