Default Fastest Equibase Speed Figure since 2005

The two fastest Equibase figures both were 133's and both were run in the state of West Va.

Researcher ran a 133 at Charles Town and Fabulous Strike ran a 133 at Mountaineer.

Fabulous Strike also owns the outright fastest BRIS figure in history -- he ran a 122 on Mountaineer's wild and wonderful winterized track.

The mechanical figures loved him.

The 133 Researcher figure was quite a joke.

The 2nd place finisher EA ran a 130...which puts him right there with Ghostzapper's best.

Mountaineer also owns the fastest 2-year-old filly figure since 2005.

Change Up ran a 111 at Mountaineer at age 2.

Rachel Alexandra's Golden Rod win (110) is the 2nd fastest 2yo filly fig.

Are there any that come to mind as a joke in the opposite direction? That you felt were shockingly low for the caliber of horse and quality of race in question?

I'm sure there are some shocking ones in the reverse direction -- I don't pay enough attention to Equibase figs to catch them.

The Equibase figures are never human adjusted...which is fine -- but I watched a real long Youtube video on how they're made...and I don't agree with their process in certain areas.

The BRIS figures ... I'm not even sure how they're made.

Here are the career top BRIS figures for a few random horses:

122 Fabulous Strike (Fastest BRIS Figure of all-time)
121 Congaree
121 Curlin
119 Ghostzapper
118 Le Prince (his only career start)
118 Easy Goer
118 Midnight Lute
118 Invasor
117 Formal Gold
117 Cigar
116 Skip Away
116 Bernardini
114 Point Given
113 Candy Ride
112 Holy Bull
112 Kona Gold
112 Researcher
110 A. P Indy
