Take Control
Azeri's first foal by AP Indy, maiden winner Take Control, is taking another shot at a comeback in an optional claimer on 6/30 at Hollywood Park in race 8 at 1 1/16 under Bejarano. He's tried at least once before, and I think was scratched after a fever or something. I've been seeing work after work for a long time. Not sure what his issues have been. He's 5 now and broke his maiden a couple days before he turned 3, beating Line of David.
Incidentally, Azeri's 3yo Ghostzapper daughter, Wine Princess, goes tomorrow at Churchill Downs in a 1 mile allowance, race 10.
