Filth, overall, especially if you consider it is nothing more than a re-purposed version of the NYT piece, except with odd style, absurd notions, and...wait for it...nothing new. http://espn.go.com/horse-racing/stor...-espn-magazine I've heard the next version in the Drape series focuses on West Virginia issues. The first one was mostly focused on the quarter horses, and New Mexico, etc. Does anyone have anything new? HBO RealSports covered the West Virginia stuff some time back, which I'm sure will focus on slaughter, etc. I'm not suggesting the "does anyone have anything new" question is one where we should forget the topic overall, but time and time again, these attempted hit pieces seem nothing more than re-purposed sensationalist drivel, propagated as a "new" story, or some breaking expose - and it never is... |
