It just won't be the same!

Maybe DrugS can be his replacement? That might be even funnier, him with the rest of those dopes.

If they had any sense at all* they would go after Jeff Siegel from HRTV to fill is spot.

*Of course they have no sense and that won't ever happen

I would pay to watch DrugS get a headache every day from being in a suit and dealing with the other TVG personalities.

Too funny. I was watching the other day and thought he was talking like a guy that wasn't going to be around long.

Wish I could remember what he said, but it was like he was talking down TVG or his colleagues. Or it was anti racing or gambling. I thought he was trying to get fired or something.

I now understand Desormeaux's anger and despair.

Odds that the Sacramento morning show turns into an Arsenio Hall Show ripoff.

Is the Sacramento gig a career demotion or promotion?

A wise long-term decision. His agent probably told him they're out of as.ses to kiss. Go home and be mediocre.

Chris Harrison set the bar high when he left TVG to host the Bachelor. Rudolph probably figured that if someone like Harrison could pull that off, a national gig was in his own future. Dancing with the Stars, MNF, the sky was the limit. TVG was going to be the "big" stepping stone. All he had to do was rise above the likes of Caton Bredar and the Sarge.

I watched his farewell tour just now on TVG and as much as I can't stand him, this might have been the first time that he wasn't a buffoon and I'll appreciate that he at least tried to learn the game.

Why would you appreciate that?

You mean you appreciate that he had a fun and kickass job where he got paid to gamble, and you appreciate that he 'learned' something about what he was doing?

That dude is an idiot.

Worse, an idiot that doesn't know when it's time to stop yapping.

The thing that struck me the most, is that Todd Schrupp must take so much abuse from the fans/viewship that in his final minutes, Ken Rudolph went to bat strongly to defend his friend.

Listen, I don't disagree that he is an idiot, but he handled it with class, and while he is an idiot, you can tell that he actually gave a **** about his job and his friends and people he worked with.

Its more then I can say (class and giving a crap) about some of horse racing's media.
