Not exactly as bad as what was going on at USC - or how Florida has had 20+ players arrested under Meyer ... but you have to assume something is up when hell holes like Alabama are the home state of two national powers in football .. and one that's the most dominant team in the nation of late.

There is no mention of the 5 players who,after turning down these "offers",suddenly and mysteriously disappeared.

The Birminghan-Tuscaloosa area is far from a hell hole. And your f.aggot patriots suck. In terms of anything but winter temp - Erie is not super cool - nor is the state of Pennsylvania. It's a good reason why a lot of elite top state talent goes elsewhere if they can.

One of the great passing games in Erie highschool history was an old Central Tech High team that had Bobby Biletnikoff at QB - and Fred Biletnikoff at wideout.

Bobby went to south Florida and set passing records at Miami before getting drafted in the first round by the New York Yankees. Fred went to Florida State.

It's understandable why athletes would want to play in Florida or So. Cal if they're good enough to make it. Alabama, however, is like the heart of the SEC.
