It's Australia. The employee misunderstood "guide" for "gay". Honest mistake. Could happen to anybody. Some of those Aussi accents are hard to comprehend.

Perhaps! But, regardless what country, most likely the employee is an idiot and so is the manager, and most likely the food is bad, as well.
