now I understand the beer summit Obama tried to have with the racist professor, the white cop and a non-drinking Joe Biden.

PS next time they need to leave Joe inside the outcome may have been better.

Don't you think that's a funny parody of both Repubs and Dems?

didn't think a new thread was worthy but knew Riot would eventually see. Where does this situation fit in to the new health care bill? American and Illegal (I know they can differ as illegals aren't covered)*, except when admitted through the ER

IMO she fits right in between my crap 2moro morning and the one I take the day after.

Isn't it all Obama's fault?

You'd better check out the very latest Wall Street Journal-NBC poll regarding Obama. 99% of Dee Tee says you won't like it

But if the public is fed up with Washington, its anger isn’t necessarily directed at President Obama.

Only 27 percent say they blame him for not being able to find solutions to the country’s problems. By contrast, 48 percent blame Republicans in Congress and 41 percent blame congressional Democrats.
And Presidential approval rating back up over 50% and climbing.

There is zero denying that Bush took a 253 billion dollar surplus the day he walked into the job, then he started two wars without finding money to pay for them, pushed through socialist Medicare prescription giveaways without funding our payment of it, and gave a tax cut to the rich without paying for it, causing him to leave office with us 1.2 trillion in debt and two ongoing war fronts.

Obama didn't walk into office with the country in the good shape it was when Bush did his first term. Yes, we have to keep that in mind, what percentage of our country's current problems are indeed, directly and solely, George Bush's fault.

Edit: and, when we yell at Obama because jobs are at 10%, we have to remember that there has been no real growth in jobs creation since 2003 in this country, there has been a slow and steady loss; and that there are many economists who feel that without the stimulus, jobs would have been at 13% or so by now, and that there are many economists who feel that the stimulus should have been much larger, to lower joblessness.

We can't have it all at the same time: lowered taxes, lower the deficit, increasing jobs, stopping government spending. It just doesn't work that way. And it doesn't work in a year.

...and you think I'm naive? Bush started with a "paper" surplus, which was immediately changed when he had to revitalize the military forces and intelligence agencies...Because Clinton cut those budgets to shreads!!
But keep blaming Bush...it's the answer to everything

No, I don't think you are naive.

Our 1.2 trillion deficit increase didn't come from Bush "revitalizing" the military and intelligence agencies.

And Bush indeed holds a hell of alot of blame for the lousy financial condition he left our country in, because BUSH RECKLESSLY SPENT TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS WE DIDN'T HAVE

(with full acknowledgement of what Clinton contributed to the financial markets).

Bush also ruined the Republican political reputation and brand, and has help render the GOP a dwindling numbers, small-tent party of the rural south.

1.2 trill can be laid at Bushs feet....maybe. Obamas mess is at around 13 trillion now. Obama campaigned on ridiculous Hope and Change scenarios that only the foolish would have bet on coming to fruition.
