Default Will Commentator be the first horse to earn $1 million at Saratoga?

Has a horse ever won a $1 million or more in his or her races at Saratoga? Third or better in the Whitney puts him over the mark. He currently has $956k in earnings at Saratoga.

I'm sure there have been more than a few.

I know Lemon Drop Kid won there as a 2yo, won the Travers when its purse was $1 million and won the Whitney when the purse was $750,000 plus a quarter million in bonus money. He was also 2nd in the Jim Dandy there.

Wills Way won the Travers and Whitney (also second in the Jim Dandy) Heavenly Prize had 3 Grade 1 wins, not sure that get's her to a mil. Fourstardave won 9 time at Saratoga most in open or NYB stakes he could be close.

Thanks. I'd fogotten about him. Even with the big stakes pots, Saratoga runs such a short meet that it would be especially difficult to win that much money there. Although, adding the Woodward to the latter part of the meet will make it easier to accomplish.

The Travers was worth a million and the Whitney was worth $750k when he won them, so he also accomplished it. Thanks.
