Default Prado riding today

Surprized to see he's riding today after being in Dubia yesterday. Is that correct? Man, I'd think he'd have some serious jet lag.

Must have private jet. No way commercial, but I'd still be wary of any of his mounts.

Tyler Baze won the G3 Santa Paula at Santa Anita today aboard 3yo filly Carlsbad who is also undefeated (5 for 5 as One Caroline 4yo filly) after riding in Dubai yesterday. Talk about a coincidence.

Great angle to remember. Must be very confident to go to all that trouble.

Have you ever rode a horse? No, it's not rocket science, but it's not exactly something that can easily be done off very little sleep and jet lag.

I'm sure Prado flew either a private jet or on Emirates First Class, which might as well be a private accomodations. You get aboard and have a bed awaiting you to crash on, get a full 8hrs and land.

I'm not implying that this was easy. I have flown across the Pacific and it's a nightmare of jetlag, but if you can sleep, it helps. Also, being able to fly back, ride and then take a few days to adjust helps. The first day is actually easier than the second and third for alot of people.

i just worked a twelve hour day off very little sleep. that included a four hour drive. no fatalities.

you guys are overrating what it takes to ride a horse. and yes, i have ridden albeit not competitively.
i'd be FAR more worried about a jock who's so dehydrated from trying to make weight that he can't even stand on his own two feet. where's the horror about that?
if prado slept the whole way back, he probably didn't suffer jet lag. it worked for me when i flew to japan.

doctors perform on very little sleep or no sleep as well. i'm sure a jock, who is definitely in shape, can handle a ride after a flight.

btw, how many jocks ride early in the mornings, but are still riding in races ten hours later? or at turfway on a friday night 18 hours after getting up-or more?
again, this is far from a big deal.
