Default Saratoga Opening Day Feature - R. 7

Guess its not technically the "feature" but it seems like it could be. Not sure if this should be here or the selections thread.

This thing is loaded! I'm the Tiger is Grade 1 caliber, Kazoo has been strong but seems to be tailing off, Spooky Mulder is game as hell, With Distinction shows up often at a nice price, Vicarage is graded stakes caliber as is Spanish Chestnut. This race is better than some of the graded stakes we have seen! Tons of early speed among the class makes me think that Awesome Twist should be tough here - hopefully at better than 4/1!

What a race, better than many stakes you come across. Many ways to go and still would have to think about it.

I know one thing for sure, LITF would not be himself were he to enter the gate against this group.

I would agree, there are a few in here who would beat Fog in this race.

i like the look of I'm The Tiger...he's coming off a long layoff but is there anyone better than Frankel coming off a long layoff ?

the Schylerville, Desire To Excel has got to be the one to beat. i'm not floored by any of the peds in the race. i think Desire To Excel can hold up pedigree wise. Angel Island, that ped is well thought out.

Totally agreed re: Awesome Twist..

I love him in here but need at least 6/1. I think he'll float up considering the relatively low BSFs..

The 2, I'm the tiger is much better than the rest here.
if he can pick up his form where he left off he should win by 4 or 5. but its his first back, so he'll win by 2.

trifecta
