That's the best I've seen so far. Humorous and to the point.

Go beyond the article and read the comment section... You'll see what we're facing. Not good.

What we're facing is horse beauty pageants on MTV with popups of tweens commenting online about how each horsie looks. They're the people making comments on these stories.

I know what you're saying, but if you read these comments under most of these columns extensively, you'll see it's a much wider sample.

Hello everyone! My name is Sue!! How do you do?

I'm here today to throw some orders and demands around like the rest of you. I said to myself, "Self, what is the most effective means of communication where I can make ridiculous demands and give ridiculous orders to people in power that aren't going to read what I have to say in the first place?"

Well...

I waited about 8 hours for self to answer and he told me the MIAMI HERALD COMMENTS section!!! Lucky you, eh?!?!?!

Ok here goes...

You over there. Yeah...you. Go run two miles.

You with the PETA shirt that's listening to K.D. Lang's Constant Craving on repeat...go take a shower.

Hey you..the redheaded multitasking tween who is watching MTV's Next and also searching Wikipedia for some of PETA's talking points so you can spew them here, quit skipping school and make something of yourself!!

Hey horse racing fan, who do you like in the 4th at Belmont today?

Hey soccer mom who is lurking and hasn't posted an opinion yet...get in the kitchen and make me a sammich!!!

I'll be back later to ask for more ridiculous demands and give out orders that won't be met.

Its funny when a human athlete takes a fall and injures themselves, it is shown over and over and over again on ESPN and in different camera angles.
When a horse gets injured, we should stop horse racing completley.

The comment section shows the error of the ways of the Randy Moss and Bill Finleys of the world. These people are just looking for any morsel of bad coming from the industry to exploit and will blow off any attempts at reform as "rich people ducking taxes" or other bs.

Of course the geniuses who run this sport will be setting up a meeting with them soon. Maybe Jimmy Carter is available to moderate? Hootie Johnson had the right idea.
