New Approach lost the first battle, but he'll win the war.

I expect him to improve a bundle for that first start, I'm noy sure there will be as much improvement in Henry this time (which isn't the norm for an O'Brien runner) but he looked very, very fit for the first start of the season.

Really fast ground wouldn't favour New Approach though, and that is my main worry.

Well it really is Henry v New Approach part III ;-)

Henry is fav now on betfair.. The one thing that is stopping me backing NA big time is the fact that most of the O'Brien horses have improved alot from their first run. I have a feeling he does something a little different with his Guineas horses, but you should still expect improvment...

Ill lay MyBoyCharlie til the cows come home earlier on..

I respect Jim Bolger a great deal, but if he continues to use those fast front running tactics on fast ground against New Approach, he will continue to set the race up for Henry. Badically, he is like a very good pacemaker for the O'Brien horse.

Murtagh timed his run to perfection again.

Time for a step up in trip for New Approach, he just hasn't got the pace of these true milers in the final furlong.

Mr Bolger, there is a half decent race happening at Epsom in a couple of weeks, that at the moment looks very winnable.
