![]() I wouldn't be surprised if they retire LITF. Gilchrist said they were thinking of retiring him if he didn't win his last race. He won that day at Churchill. Gilchrist said the horse has some physical problems this year which he didn't have last year. I wouldn't be surprised if this was his last race.

![]() Nice comeback race by Pomeroy, the horse who really excels at the Spa. Wondering where he is pointed to, perhaps the Forego?

![]() At least he will probably get to run at equal weight now, he was giving most of this field 10lbs....No idea if it will help but all today proves is that how hard sprinting is on these horses, which makes for great prices

At least now .... they can still find and convince some gullible investors into believing that he's the real goods ... and was just "unlucky" or "injured" in his only two starts against quality sprinters. If they race him any more ... even the most gullible rubes will finally catch on. "Yup ... he won the Eclipse Award last year ... gonna make a real fine stallion." |

![]() Henny Hughes is the best sprinter in the country now in my opinion. Sure he didn't beat anybody in his first start back at Monmouth but it didn't make a difference. LITF may not be as good as some people have thought but he's not a total fraud. He obviously is not at his best right now. I've heard that he is suffering from a quarter crack along with some other stuff. When healthy, he can compete with the best and win a few. He padded his record in the begining which created the hype. I'm hoping LITF can get healthy again and compete at his best.

![]() Hmmm, a fraud. Well I'll take any fraud that is a Grade 1 winner and has earned the cash he's won in his career. Has anything been confirmed about him being reshoed before the race and an injured heel coming out - not trying to speculate but that's what I've heard...

![]() Actually, I just got back from Calder and was in the paddock area most of the day yeaterday. He looked like there was something wrong the whole time he was there. He moped and didnt raise his head at all. He was the only one acting like that. I thought something was amiss at that time.

But I've posted many times that I am not a "handicapper" ... I haven't placed a serious bet on a horse since 1967. I don't have the time that's required to follow day-to-day racing to the extent that's needed in order to be a successful bettor ... and I know it ... that's why I don't bet. But I do have the time to watch and analyze G1 dirt racing ... which is what I've been doing since 1958 ... and I'm knowledgable enough to recognize when a horse doesn't finish his races with conviction against weak fields ... and is thus very vulnerable against strong fields. Lost In The Fog is not himself a fraud ... he's just a horse ... it's the over-the-top over-evaluation he was given by naïve goo-goos that was ... and is ... fraudulent. You do understand that ... don't you? |

![]() Here's my take on this Danzig....
Excuses are for LOSERS!!! Winners don't have to make up excuses, because they won. Duh???? See previous post. ^^^ |
