This is the type of QUALITY, COMPETITIVE and INTERESTING race you typically get almost every day at SAR. Here we are, the end of FEB and this is probably the 2nd or 3rd race of this type at GP. WHY? The same horses are there. Guess most of the horses aren't even on a WORKING holiday.

Goes to show how easily we're spoiled by the quality of NY on season racing.

It just shows.....if Gulfstream would offer good races, with decent purses, they could have good racing. Instead, they offer pretty much nothing but very cheap racing and the racing is, for the most part, complete garbage.

Where are the higher class/quality runners? Is GP carding such cheap races, especially on turf this year, to ensure bigger fields at the expense of quality? I typically play just turf races. Between Mother Nature washing many off the grass and the number of cheap claiming races it's been slimmer pickins this year than in any year past I can remember. So much so that I've had looked closer to home - Tampa - to play turf races.
