Anybody have any input on why Contessa is entering Shelby's Memory in this 10k affair?

Claimed in 25k race last out that she won...

no real inside info, but in general you would think the horse has a giant hole in em somewhere. these guys are not in the business of giving away nice horses

Contessa just claimed her for $16K. To me the drop to $10K does not inspire great confidence, but doesn't necessarily mean damaged goods either.

Especially if speed continues to hold up, I personally would not bet against this one.
