Default Belmont Pick 6 Today

I can't believe this thing paid $12,848.00. Man the longest price on the board was 5-1.

Race 4 - 6.80
Race 5 - 8.40
Race 6 - 12.60
Race 7 - 12.60
Race 8 - 6.80
Race 9 - 3.30

Unreal if you ask me.

Magic Monmentum had to be the one people didnt have. He was m/l 12-1 and went off at 5-1 but there were some scratches in this race so the field was only 6. Congrats to all who hit it.

It's more about who doesn't win and in this case the favorite going down in the feature really moved it up. On the other hand, the parlay was about $6360 so it only paid double.

I hit one for $141K thirteen years ago where the biggest price was $15 and change ( look it up...Travers Day 1993 and the biggest price was Sea Hero ). The biggest contributing factor was that no favorite won.

Very good points. It is all about combinations in those pick 3, 4 and 6.

I think your point about the 7th is also a good one. It's not that the winner was 5-1, it's more that you beat TWO horses under 2-1. Though, how the Pletcher horse was 8-5 is beyond me. The two dirt races by that horse were absolutely awful.

I had the late Pick-3 for a few bucks and it was HUGE value. It paid $150 which was twice the parlay.

Have no clue how that horse was 8/5. He looked horrible on paper. I dont much about the horse, but I dont think I would have wagered on him.
