Default Euros coming for the BC?

Are any of these coming?

Irridescence
Satwa Queen
West Wind

I'll take any other info about Euros making the trip outside of Dylan Thomas and the 2 O'Briens(GW and Excellent Art).

Thanks.

He isn't going in the Champion Stakes which has led to speculation they are running him in the BC instead.

George Washington doesn't matter a whole lot to me regardless because I think he's a toss. He reminds me too much of the out of form Hurricane Run that came over last year and didn't run a lick.

Actually, now that I think about it, I'd love for GW to come because he'd take a ton of money in the BC Mile.

At least he'd have a shot in the Mile. Problem is they'll probably enter him in the Classic where he'd have no shot and might not even draw enough money to make a difference in the betting pools.

Even the mighty Aidan O'Brien seems lost as to what to do with GW. The horse has looked most unwilling this year. I can't say for sure, but i think the horse may have had a few problems over the last few weeks. He was pulled out of the QEII only days before the race, then they it looked almost certain to go to Monmouth, then he wasn't. The Champion Stakes was then the target, and now it isn't.

He is either proving very difficult, or they just don't know what to do with him.

Take a look at the thread in International, that will give you all the updates of the Euro horses coming to the BC (or likely to come)

Passage of Time is back in the Filly and Mare Turf as she's not going in the Champion Stakes on Saturday. It will be very emotional if Henry Cecil wins his 1st Breeders' Cup race.

Aidan O'Brien's team has apparently risen to 5

Maybe I am missing something, but are the turns at Monmouth any tighter than, Santa Anita, Hollywood, "Old" Gulfstream, or Churchill (all tracks that Euros have had success on)?

And to expand this question a bit (and possibly highjack this thread), just what kind of horses will like narrow turns -- horses with some grass breeding? smaller horses? horses with a shorter stride? And of the likely contenders, who fits this bill?

Generally, smaller, more athletic horses like the tighter turns. I'm not completely sure about this, but I believe the stretch is also shorter at Monmouth than what the Euros would prefer.

The tighter turns myth is funny, as it pops up every once in a while when dealing with one mile dirt courses.

Just for the record, the stretch at Monmouth is 990 feet long, a little bit longer than Lone Star. What that means is that since the circumference at Monmouth and Churchill is the same and the stretch is longer at Churchill, the turns are wider at Monmouth.
