I think his job is secure for one more year because he made the playoffs, but each time he puts in Alfonseca and Mesa for relief he should be fired right on the spot. I just turn off the TV because those two either blow the lead or give up more runs when they are down. It's also great listening to Philly sports radio, on Sunday and Monday everybody wanted Manuel to get manager of the year, now after losing 2 in a row they want him fired. It's amazing how the tides can turn in a couple of days

Days??? This city can turn on ya as fast as a double switch. 610 WIP is a joke. Nothing but the creme de la crumbs call in. Chuckles didnt do half bad this year, IMO. Shaky calls? Yea. At least his position players were comfortable enough to play loose ball. Don't get me wrong, I love Larry Bowa, but his style didnt mesh with these overpaid pampered pros. Chuckles fits these guys to a tee.

Rocks took 4 straight from the Dodgers, and then took 3 from the Pads. Then they took 3 more from the Dodgers. Then took 2 out of 3 from the Diamondbacks. Then beat Pads for the Wildcard. You're not losing to a bad team. They have some outstanding hitters.Amazing how pitchers start getting good when you have that kind of support. They aren't making many mistakes.
