Default pgardn at delmar

way before time, but I got some time.

everyone ragging on Del Mar bein a pickem.. so I give it a shot.

Race 3: #1 Categorize (accept no less than 4-1)
Race 5: # 3 Areutrue (M/L favorite at 7/2, probably a no play)
Race 7: #11 Rabbi (definite longshot with tough post and only 1 win)
Race 8: #7 Supposition (Valbenny Ruther...take much money, I play)
Race 9: #5 Raise the Heat (Big old field of claimers going long in the last race is usually tough; If this horse goes at 3-1 or better I will bite)

So race 7 and race 8 will be played W/P. The others are wait and see what the tote brings us.
This is how we do it.

Late pik 3

7:8,11
8:7,9,4
9: 5

A single in the 9th is dangerous, but for the frugal, necessary.

Play my first ticket for $1 and you will have plenty to go nuts with later. I love the 8 in the first race. First time turf Prime Timber

Use the 11 horse in the 9th if you feel compelled to double your wager.

Scavs that horse had shown plenty of speed before.
Then you get him going shorter on the turf, holy cow that was a tough race to bet. They all are tough, but I left out a number of them due to difficulty. I find the 5f turf races very hard.

Tough job for these jocks.

Getting out fast has been death at Del Mar yet some have run away when the fractions are not terribly outrageous and they are on the lead. Difficult to guage for the jocks on the syn.

Speed appears to be holding fairly well today in these sprints.

I can't get one winner let alone a pk4, Headley didn't win a race since April and now took the 8th last night and R6 today. This Poly stuff is a total crapshoot. It is impossible to win saving ground from the inside on these sprints, I don't think I've seen a horse sitting a pocket trip do anything.

So you got something figured out.
These are really big fields and the background info is just not that telling yet for the synthetic. Dont have enough info. the hollywood stuff isvery diff. I cant believe that some of these horses are going off at 5/2 and such when they just cant be indentified as better on this stuff yet. Baffert says everyone there is drunk so someone is bound to hit something if we are playing against a bunch of pickled people.

Last night you had to rally 4 or 5 wide to win. It looked like spd was holding better, but than you see the last race and Choctaw Chief came from last and Solis used same 5 wide move that he used to win last nights finale.

That was very impressive.
Thought she was gonna get caught to far behind but the swift pace insured that Valbenny and Ruth were going to be there. And there was no doubt about who is the best.
