to see women play basketball? It just hits me as remarkable that they do that.

I would say I've been to at least 50 or more Div 1 women's college hoop games in the last 5 years and ZERO NBA games in the last 15 years

Scuds my friend, I miss your handicapping.

My sisters (younger then me), have gone to a game. Me personally, I have never watched or even considered going to a game

These days I have a tough time watching the NBA. As far as the WNBA goes, I think I would rather watch ping-pong. The only thing that makes sense is these people who have little girls that like basketball. They look up to these players like I looked up to guys like Jordan, Ewing and so on. I guess if you have daughters and they like sports then maybe the WNBA is a good thing for you.

Scav,I guess there is a three part reason why I haven't played horses much recently.

1)I have more money than I once had. So,I think that alone makes me less hungry for it.

2)I have been spending a lot of time producing stuff for this youngsta (2 links for him in my signature.) This is probably the biggest reason.

3)They started having shorter fields at Anita, and so I wasn't interested much. Then I just never came back at Hollywood.I think this whole period is considered transition (for me,) because of the switch in SoCal to artificial.I am all for it,but it doesn't mean I am any good at.So,I think the reason is all of the above, but I can tell you it wasn't a decision.I just got interested in some other stuff.

I really don't feel like I ever left. That's how big a challenge this kid is.His ego is off the scale. He has not mastered English though, and he hates that(more than anything.)Not pretty when I have to correct him.Really weird to get attacked when you're helping somebody. Then, I stop correcting(when I should)and he loses his temper then, too. So much talent though.

I've watched about 15 seconds of WNBA in my lifetime (remote slipped out of my hand and it took me that long to pick it back up). I have watched an occasional NCAA tourney game (I think it is the win or go home thing).

For that matter, I have watched about 15 minutes of the NBA over the last 5 years.

Mens college hoops only for me.

I went to a game in Connecticut a couple months ago. They played Phoenix with Taurisi. It was not the worst time I ever had. The place was packed. I had Conn and the under. If you have a daughter who plays sports, it is a nice time. But truly tolerable only with a little action.

I think the games I watched were ones I had bets on(so I can't really say if it's tolerable to watch it without action on it.)This Taurisi girl(for Connecticut, I think) was hitting everything she put up.F'n amazing.Still wouldn't pay to see her play a game of horse (like that) though.

No,this was when she played college hoops.I have never seen a WNBA game.I guess the market they are focusing on is 1)Lesbians,and 2)people with their girls involved in hoops(not in any particular order.)They wouldn't have it if there wasn't some sort of market.
