![]() Hi folks. As the title says I'm still fairly new at this and trying to get my head around some of the finer points of pace handicapping. Can anyone out there recomend a book, article or software to help with pace? Other than Brohamer which I feel I've been trying to read for 6 months. Thanks so much.

![]() Not only for pace, but Steve Davidowitz's "Betting Thoroughbreds: A Professional's Guide for the Horseplayer" is an excellent read. It will take some effort to understand it all, but I feel this is a great book for somebody trying to learn how to play.

![]() The definite pace methodology choice is "Modern Pace Handicapping" by Tom Brohamer. I've never been able to get through it. It is a slow, tough read.

![]() The best book on pace, in my opinion, is Thoroughbred Handicapping: State of the Art, by William Quirin. It is old, but well worth reading, and a much better read than the Brohamer work.

![]() Once again thanks for all the responses, I'm finding pace the most difficult part to get my head around fully. Can't tell you how much the suggestions are appreciated.
