Default Sun - ELP PK4, Barbaro, & Del Cap

Ellis Park

R8
#3 Pound for Pound - Faced better at CD.
#10 Care of Gold Music - Simms trainee taking big drop.
#2 Flip Flop John - Owner who is also trainer decides to face lesser. SCR
#5 Jules Fuel - Bug boy has shown some skills.

R9
#10 Golden Dawn - The extra 1/2 furlong should help the cause.
#5 Exciting Justice - Big effort at 43-1 and picks up another bug boy.

R10
#3 He's Mine - Should move up on the turf.
#6 Honour Our Troops - Dangerous on the lawn versus these.

R11
#9 Force Forty Nice - The cutback could have him taking his picture.
#1 Cynthiana'a Song - Draw a line through turf effort.
#12 Glenn's Choice - Hot jock should have him involved early.
#2 Long Run Road - CD to ELP is a big difference.

PK4 - 3 5 10 with 4 10 with 3 6 with 1 2 9 12 = $48 for a buck

Delaware Park

R10 - Barbaro Stakes

#7 Longley
#6 Xchanger
#1 King of the Roxy

R11- Delaware Handicap

#3 ASI SIMEPRE - Will absolutely relish the distance and 3-1 is a gift.
#1 Peak Maria's Way
#6 Indian Vale

The Play - Win bet on #3

Good Racing Luck

Thanks for starting the thread.

Beware going against the speed on this Delaware track, Indian Vale might just love it, too

I'll check for rain

And I'll toy with the Ellis Pick-4, I hear there's a real low takout? A good race up at Fort Erie , but I can't find free pp's for all. Prince of Wales Stakes, I'll take Daaher

Nice and dry at Delaware, and with Host scratching from the Ceaser Rodney, I'll take another look:

3rd- Regally Bred, with JR Velazquez
4th-Mere Justice(with JR)

9th-exacta box Silent Roar/Shake the Bank
10th-Longley
11th-Peak Maria's Way

Ellis Pick 4: 5/5/11/3 (and I'll take Sanguinity in the 6th)

And I'll win bet Jules Fuel at Ellis(8th), and Stormin Gun in the 10th

Intersting 20-1 in Colonial's 8th, a nx1 on grass, Johann's Star, wired a maiden special weight field on this turf on a fast front end

DAMN IT

I just lost 3 pick 3 bets when #7 Silver Payday couldn't get past #6 Baja Freaking Morning. WTF kinda nonsense with the favorite was that. So much for Frank L Brothers, Helen Pitts and Terry Gestes
supposedly Eddie Kenneally is only at 2% on Debut horses.. oops won this one

I hate rolling pick 3s. I just died on 3 of them. I swear.. this is getting personal.

so.... technical difficulties prevent from seeing the resuls of the 7th on
don't suppose they decided to cancel racing and I get my $48 back?

I'm not getting a signal
and Equibase is not showing the results from Race 7 on

I got my money down and I can't even see it go round and round in the toilet

Brisbet hasn't displayed a cancellation for Ellis(yet), and the Ellis racing site is useless. The weather does say "thunderstorms in the vicinity", so I'm guessing that they either are trying to wait it out, and resume with the 8th on, or that they cancelled.

Seems like in racing they just cancel, and never go into a delay mode

Default Off And Running

at Ellis - no video, but I've been waiting an hour for the 1 (now scratched), 3,5,7 box . . . at least I had my money a little longer.

No results for race 7 or 8, odds up for race 9 . . . would they cancel those races?

Ellis Park experienced a power outage shortly after the 6th race on Sunday, and had to cancel the remainder of the card.

Thanks for the update
now I know I would have won

I think instead of a refund they should go ahead and pay me the $24k I was going to win

That's the third time in the past year Ellis has lost power due to a storm, and this one wasn't that much of one. Embarrassing.

Due to the repairs on the bridge Ellis has been using power from Vectren (Indiana).
