Default If you're playoff bound(or close to it)..here's a move to make

http://oakland.athletics.mlb.com/new...=.jsp&c_id=oak

Milton Bradley designated for assignment by Oakland. He guesses at what pitch is coming, but if he is right,he can do a lot of damage against a good pitcher in the post-season.He is a free agent after this season. So,ya just renting for 3 months or so.Honeymoon could last that long(especially on a winning team.)Dodgers(can only hit bad pitching)need him worse than anybody, but won't take him.Wouldn't surprise me if Padres pick him up.Aren't they using that crappy Cruz in Left Field? Oh come on now.Get Major League.

I think he has proven it's all good as long as the team is a winner.I sure wouldn't pick him up unless the team is already likely to make the playoffs. This is no grinder. He isn't being let go for problems off the field. He is being let go,cuz they think he was going to be a problem(cuz of too many outfielders on the A's.)

either way...good luck if someone picks him up. Like walking on eggshells and the potential to F up a good team chemistry is hardly worth the risk...imo.

Some of these teams have no shot unless they get some real punch. The Dodgers and Padres are good examples. They put skirt on as soon as a good pitcher goes to the mound.I'm convinced neither of those 2 teams will hit in the playoffs.Every Dodger got a hit tonite in Tampa Bay.Believe me,against good pitching, they could easily get only 2 or 3 hits in the whole game. This I know.I have seen them put skirt on too often to be fooled anymore. They need playoff quality hitters.

Bradley is certainly not the answer here. Guessing at pitches is a fools game - and that's why he was released. You've got to have clue when going to the plate and guessing doesn't play into that..... jmho......

Well,he and Frank Thomas continued to hit, hit, hit in that 2nd half of the season last year.He is a good hitter, but he needs to be on a team that is winning(he will help that team to keep winning..in other words...the guy is a frontrunner.)When the rest of the team choked at the plate against Detroit, this guy was getting some hits.I am not saying he is a good player to sign to a big contract. He isn't(cuz he will not grind on a team that is struggling.)He is a good guy to get if you need to add some pop to a probable playoff team.No fun to be in the playoffs with a bunch of choke hitters.Just ask Padre fans.

He will wind up on somebodys roster. He is a better option than most of what the Yankees put in the DH position most nights.

Angles have a tuff time with the Red Sox so that leaves the Tigers.

If Wedge was managing potato seminars you Tiger swine would have no chance.

But he isn't and he will continue to destroy this team.

The Mets are a little banged up in the outfield. Gomez has been OK. There is talk that Alou might be done and Endy Chavez is a couple of weeks away. Randolph likes Chavez off the bench anyway. I know he is not Spanish but he might be a good fit for the Mets. Talented team, and a load of vets to hold his hand if needed. Wouldn't suprise me.

Guess what? He is playing left field tonite for the Padres in Left Field(where Cruz normally plays.) I know these Padres, and their Walmart-shopping ways.
