Sinister G, run with great-granddaddy Slew in Heaven in fields lush and welcoming. This fan will miss you.

Cajun,
So do I hate colic. RIP Sinister G.
I get so bummed...reading about Cormorant (NY sire), Ten Cents a Shine,
so many others. Miss Storm Cat keeps the thread going in esoteric but everytime I read about another one....shucks!

As I recall, without looking it up, I think he was the one that upset Birdstone on a sealed track in the Lane's End at Turfway. I think Zito was pretty upset about it at the time. Me too, I bet on Birdstone. I never get mad at horses for beating me though. Sad to hear about his passing.

colic is actually a catch-all term for abdominal pain...there are several different types and numerous causes...

the wikipedia entry is pretty good.
