Default Beat The Pro Challenge

Just perusing tomorrows edition of the DRF and noticed on page 16 the advertisement for the youbet.com Beat The Pro Challenge.

The pro to beat? Drf and Derbytrails own Andy Serling (blackthroatedwind).

I remember BTW mentioning this some weeks back. Check it out, this is everyones chance to show him up.

Also big congrats to BTW for landing this plum assignment.

good luck!

The ad says qualifying rounds are April 14th and 21st.

Finals April 28th.

This is the first ad I've seen and yes nothing on the website yet. I think its just being rolled out.

Your joking right? just trying to let people get over confident thinking you're not even paying attention.

The DRF ad says 14th and 21st.

PG1985 is the one making him really nervous.

Nervous? No. Resigned? Yes.

Look, the chances that I can finish in the top five either day are pretty slim. It's all in good fun.

To be honest, the hardest thing for me will be that some of the races are at Keeneland, and unless they're on the grass I have no idea what to do. But, I guess everybody else is probably pretty much in the same boat.

I was told it was the 7th and 14th, but one way or another there is confusion, but it doesn't really matter. My only problem is that I may be out of town the week of the 21st...but I'll be playing wherever I am.

There's basically nobody here that can't " beat " me on any given day and that's the beauty of the contest. I hope everybody plays....and I hope as many people as possible do well.

One of the many great things about this game is that every day is an opportunity for all of us to be geniuses.

Yeah, isn't it a real money tournament, so I guess you have to be able to bet through Youbet. That's too bad.

Well, feel free to post what your picks would have been. I think it is a few mandatory races from three tracks and then you pick a few that you want from those same tracks.
