this is a joke, the NBA and the refs will stop at nothing toi carry a series out to get that cash. Mavericks will blow them so far off the court tonight it won't be funny. 20 point game at least. Mavs will crush them. |

![]() I hope Miami blows them away tonight so Mark Cuban and Dork Nirvinsky have more fits. They are like little school children who got their PB & J sandwich taken away.
It will be nice to see Pat Riley and Shaq back on top again, and also a wonderful story having Dawayne Wade, who is very classy. But by far the best thing about it is the NBA will be over for 5 months. Hooray! ![]() |

![]() Yeah, I can't see Avery not have them fired up tonight for sure. Game 7 is probably a good bet. If the heat want this, they best do it tonight, I don't think they want to go to game 7. If Shaq and Wade come to dominate tonight, they could pull it off. They need a quick start though.

![]() I thought Cuban took the loss very well and was gracious in defeat applauding the play of the better team, the Miami Heat.
I'm glad for Shaq, Wade and Riley and the rest of the Heat, but even more glad the NBA is over with for 5 months. ![]() |

![]() Mark Cuban is one of the good things that has happened to the NBA.
Yes he is arrogant, and a jerk, but he bought a horrible team and produced a contender. He was also applauding Miami's effort after the game was over. The Mavs are now solid with Avery as coach. Avery is the type of guy that does not give up. They will be a force next year. Unfortunately for Avery, there is a guard named D. Wade that is as composed and tough minded as any young guard I have ever seen. And he is a basketball player with a football body. The guy is amazing. A real asset to the NBA. Guys like Iverson should look back at their career and realize what it means to come to practice and be a model of composure for the TEAM. A little late now though. The guy is a Godsend for Mr. Stern and he knows it. |

![]() Honestly, I thought it would go seven games, but that the Heat would win the 7th game. I was wrong. Glad the Heat won. They really do seem to play as a "team" rather than rely on one dude. Even though the dude they have can be relied upon.

![]() I wonder how or why the League allowed this to end in 6 games? Losing out on all that revenue from a game 7? We all know this league is all a bunch of smoke and mirrors, I am completely in shock this thing was allowed to be over in 6. But very glad too. I hate the NBA.

Only watched it because my husband was watching and everyone around here was talking about it. Not a big NBA fan myself. I like Baseball and horses. Some football is ok, just not in large doses.

![]() Contrary to popular belief, the league does not control the games. However I would not be suprised if they tell the refs to look one way or the other on fouls to maybe help the cause.

![]() To me,what Phil did on Sunday was almost win a major with poor driving(in the one major that is least tolerant of poor driving.)The fact that he went to the well one too many times(with the great 2nd shots=recovery shots)is not a huge choke to me.What Monty did was choke in it's purest form ever. What the Mavs did was a true choke also. They had a huge chance to win games 3,5,and 6.Simply threw those bricks up every time they needed to hit shots. They didn't do that in the previous 2 series. They choked huge. Not as huge as Monty did though.Damn that Monty is a choke. They should start a museum in Nebraska or something to note these things.Call it the "HALL OF CHOKE." These Euros would be in the 1st room you walk into. Up 1st would be Van de Velde.2nd would be Monty.3rd would be another Frenchman named Thomas Levet in the British Open in 2002.4th would be fellow Euro Thomas BJORN.Most people remember that he choked away the 2003 British Open. Most don't know that he went into the final round of the 2005 Smurfit European Open with a 4 shot lead, and then shot a round of 86(14 shots over par)to finish in a tie for 33rd.I saw the man do the following, and will never forget it.....
"...Björn’s misfortune began when his brave attempt to find the green in two at the par five 16th narrowly failed and when the ball rolled into the water hazard, it led to a bogey six. However, it was nothing compared to the 17th hole where he put three balls into the water from the tee to run up a septuple bogey 11. A closing bogey six as the heavens poured down saw him finish with an 86 and a share of 33rd place on six over par 294..." http://www.europeantour.com/default....reportid=50815 All the teams and players mentioned above are talented, and have had success in their fields of competition(yes, even Van de Velde found a way to hold on this year to win something minor...although he did choke the French Open away last year.) http://www.europeantour.com/default....reportid=50806 The biggest chokers are actually very talented(after all, they are in a position to win,and that should not go unnoticed, because that is a sign of their talent.) |

![]() Scuds- I think Phil choked. He hit a horrible tee shot on 18. Forget the fact that he shouldnt have been hitting driver off the 18th tee to begin with, but the shot itself was way off to the left, I mean that was pulled a good 60-70 yards to the left. He was lucky that tent was there. That would have rolled and rolled and rolled.
Anyone with his talent should pull a drive like that off in somewhat of a decent manner. The guy has won 3 majors, dont even start to tell me the pressure was too much to handle. That wasnt a very hard tee shot. He f-ucked up. |
