Default More Energy Picking Winners / Less on Attacking One Another

Sunday:

Speaking of Pletcher, he has another 2YO making his second start at CD in the nightcap. Bullara out of Holy Bull who follows a second place effort with a 1:00.2 breezing bullet work. Morning line 7-2 is probably a joke but maybe we can get 2-1???

Joel, have you seen him work???
Outside post (12) not the best....

But ...

... but picking winners is HARD ...

... attacking each other is EASY.

Can't we do it just a little bit?

I love Bullara today...I'll be playing him pretty good...that maiden race that he exits is the best maiden race to date at CD this spring/summer in terms of depth of quality....that was a nice second to a very fast colt in Run Alex Run who will be a stakes winner sprinting soon (maybe Bashford Manor)....Bullara was wide and dueled with that colt and Prodical Extreme (who is also a very talented colt that ran 4th that day for Pat Byrne) and Bullara probably took the worst of it....I've had that race pegged as a "key" race and I really think that the top 4 finishers of that race are nice horses..

Bullara should beat this bunch if bejarano can break well, crossover and get a nice 2-4 wide stalking trip....the loss of ground doesn't concern me as much because babies won't pass each other anyway, so I don't mind the outside post as long as he gets close to the front right out of the gate and he will because he is a good gate horse.

FYI...Morada key for bob holthus is working well and bred to be fast and early....he outworked a solid set of horses from the gate to works back and needs to be used in here.....I'm going to use him and bullara on top (mostly Bullara) - and also use Lukas' colt who I saw in the paddock for his debut and he is a GORGEOUS chestnut son of Pulpit....Shore obviously has to be used underneathe - although i didn't like the maiden race he exits and don't think he can beat this group, and helen pitt's indiand Charlie colt should probably be used underneathe in EXs and TRIs too...

...GOOD LUCK!!!
