Default Falcons hire Bobby Petrino

Wonder if this going to turn out like most college coaches in
NFL failing to win? This a huge lost for the Cardinals football
program. Best of Luck Petrino

to bad for the cards. that program was on a good roll, even has matt simms commited to play next year.
i'd look for simms to de-commit though. petrino's bother is the OC and Bama has interviewed him to come and OC at Bama. the Bama hire has set the dominos in motion.

ddthetide, right on about setting dominos in action, should be seeing
a lot of coaching changes in the next month. Good like to your
Crimson Tide in the next couple of years. Expect them to be a
huge force in college football again. This is coming from a
Penn State Fan

They had some great battles against each other, It would be
nice to restore that series

they had signed a home-away set for the future but i think it was mutually cancelled.

i was at the game in birmingham where derrick thomas DOMINATED and Bama won 9-3 (i thing that was the score) i was also at the game at psu when bobby humpheries ran for 230 yds in the mud. Bama won that won too.
