![]() The writer couldn't help himself from penning lines like, "Rumors about more indictments linger in the air like jazz notes in the French Quarter." He also quoted former Guv Earl Long. But it is a very thorough account of the HPBA shenanigans.

His lines are pretty funny, I particularly like this one.... "This storyline is as familiar to Louisianans as Mardi Gras." But yes this is a pretty good accounting, except he left out the part about the man who hollered the loudest about this after losing President election, Arthur Morrell and family's, political dynasty and shennanigans. As I've told you before I literally, in person, at the State House watched him when he was a Rep. go into a corner outside chambers and change his vote in the House to side with the animal RIGHTS, not welfare, advocates. How does a supposed loyal horseman vote with the PETA people. ![]() I know only too well from personal experience how Louisiana pollitics work. It's quite remarkable how you can get votes or absentees on bills in committee, house or senate. Hey in the meantime, it pays to know the right people in Louisiana, I want an illegal police siren bubble to fly down the I-10 at 100 mph. because I'm late for an appointment and get a pass!!! ![]() |
