Yeah the epicenter was in Baja to be clear but wow.... it was a long one!

The largest I have been in is a 6.3 and that was enough to make me hightail it back to Texas

It was a good one...lasted about 30-45 seconds....no damage.

My life did flash before my eyes - I wondered why I didn't box that exacta in the last race.

Can you imagine if it had been that awful jarring type of quake (instead of the rolling kind)?

Yikes, the tectonic plates are very, very active this year. Multiple large earthquakes, volcanoes erupting...2012 is very close...

Warning be prepared..don't rely upon..

It takes them a veeeeerrrrrrrryyyyyyyy long time to get prepared, deploy and then discuss and figure out what they are going to do....months at best!!!!
