Long time lurker, first or second-time poster here!
Zenyatta's win last Friday gave Street Cry his second Breeders Cup winner from his first crop, Street Sense of course being the other.
My question......is this a first? I'm pretty good with my general pedigree stuff, but I don't have a clue as to how to research something like this. I suppose the place to start is to gather statistics on what stallions have sired multiple BC winners, and then turn the microscope up from there.
In 2006, Street Cry was on my very short list of Freshman sires that I thought would have a stellar career, and so far, he's looking good to prove me right.
Two BC winners in his first crop......I really would love to know if that's been done before in the 25 year history of the Cup.
Anybody have any ideas on how to find out?
