Trainer Donna Wormser was fined $1,000 and suspended for 30 days by the State Racing and Wagering Board after her horse Star for a Day tested positive for Clenbuterol winning 11th race at Saratoga on Travers Day, Aug. 25. Star for a Day paid $57.50, was part of a pick 4 that returned $1,025 with favorites winning the other three legs. Wormser has been granted a stay on appeal.

That bleepin horse destroyed me on Travers Day... closing from dead last, like a rocket.. I went back over that race numerous times to see if I had missed anything. Apparently what I missed was not readily visible.
