John Smoltz has only missed 2 post seasons in his 17 years in the Bigs. Incidentally those were his first 2 seasons. Looks like hes also going to be going on an early vacation.

Man these Braves stink this year.

I work for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays grounds crew and the Braves just finished a 3 game series here. I overheard the trainer for the Braves and Pat Corrales talking about Smoltz maybe going back to the Tigers before the season's over. Then he tweeked his groin. Actually now that I think about, I heard one of the Rays saying that he wouldnt doubt Smoltz would be rented by the Yanks or Mets this year.

watching the Tigers now and they just put up 10 runs for the TENTH time this season. Imagine if they got Smoltz back?
