It was ironic how when the Indians were first trying to get more slots the Vegas hotels were against it and campaigned against it. Once the Indians won, many casinos suddenly wanted to be partners with the Indians(ie Harrahs Rincon Casino, etc)

You can be darn sure if the California tracks want to get slots the Vegas casinos will be back at it as California has to be the largest group of visitors to Vegas and Vegas doesnt want to lose any customers from the gravy train.
But if the tracks ever win the battle, the hotels will the first one knocking at the tracks doors to partner up with them too.
