Default workouts of note

An oldie but a goodie has shown up on the workouts list. Does the name, Balto Star ring a bell ? Also , last years FoY DQ' ed winner over Jazil, Corinthian. ( my Derby horse ). I sat behing his connections last year, and heard tale of his being very immature. Hope his mind has grown up to his body now, he could be heard from this year.

" Grade 1 veteran BALTO STAR (Glitterman), unraced for more than two years since a tally in the 2004 Meadowlands Breeders' Cup H. (G2), stretched his legs for three panels in :38. The eight-year-old was posting his first work since February."

CORINTHIAN (Pulpit), who crossed the finish line first before being disqualified to third in the Fountain of Youth S. (G2), traveled four furlongs in :48 4/5 for Jimmy Jerkens. The well regarded colt has run only once since, placing third in a July 29 allowance at Saratoga."

balto star still around eh....he has bragging rights in that he beat a horse who then went on a tear before ultimately being named horse of the year-won the whiraway by 2 1/2 over mineshaft.
best of luck to balto star.
