I spent a lot of time on these races last night. The final three are interesting but how come only six, and two of them are hopeless, showed up for the La Prevoyante? It is worth $200K.

Good Question. Is Magnificent Song, Lady Of Venice, Precious Kitten (and the entire field she beat) all on layup?

Probably. They are 3YOs. Biancone is in California, and considering Lady of Venice missed the QEII I would be surprised if we see her before the spring or summer. Magnificent Song has built a fraudulent rep and I would not be surprised if she retired, to maybe be bred and sold, as her value has most likely peaked with a win in that phony Grade 1 the Garden City.

Precious Kitten is Frankel so he is probably busy mapping out her four race campaign for next year. She's actually pretty good...and improving.

I think Frankel is just waiting to hear what Dixie says.

The La Prev came up real thin. I think S Queen is the only graded winner in there, if memory serves. Last year, Film Maker won in a 12 horse field. Year before was a great race with Arvada, Humanita and H Ryder.

I look forward to betting against Nighttime Affair in the Noe. 7F not his best, it's his 3rd race in 6 weeks and he's going to be an underlay.

Most important, it's been raining like crazy here and will rain off and on through Friday. At the least, figure the turf will not be firm. If it rains late Friday/Saturday, it'll be a mess.

Nice to see Devil's Preacher in the circle, I think he has been the longest standing member in my stable mail since everyone else has been retired and deleted.

So let me get this straight.....you are a regular press box attendee at Laker games.....you regularly give out losing chalk here only to erase the posts after the selections lose.....you bet football games on fictitious point spreads........and now you are redboarding horses that you never mentioned before the races.

OK....no problem, I believe you, but I have one question......how do you do it while in a strait-jacket?

in case you're on ignore (yeah right) i'll respond.

earlier in the day i saw some dixie plays that, well you know how it ended up, they stunk up the joint again. i was looking for them later and couldn't find them. I know Outra Rafeala was one of them. were they in fact deleted?
that wouldn't be ethical.

I think they are still in the selections room....only not deleted because DaHoss copied his original post.

Dicksie has been erasing losing picks since he invented the internet. He was famous for it on other boards. He usually, however, leaves his redboards up.

You're the greatest escape artist since Houdini.
So you posted those picks on the Chanuka thread just for other people to waste their time on, while you cleverly went your own way? Interesting. You should put a little disclaimer on your touts, "Note these selections are subject to revision after completion of the race".

I don't guess it makes a bit of difference, as I doubt that anyone is hanging on the edge of their seats just itchin to throw down some big green on the Dixie picks.

Hey! I like that. Like the Dixie Chicks, over here we have the Dixie Picks!

(I know, i'm back on the ignore list for sure)

Mental note to self, be sure to play these horses/teams:

Stormello in the Hollywood Futurity
Victory Pool at Aqueduct
The 49ers on Thursday Night Football
Ohio State vs. Cincy in college baskets
