Default Movie thread idea

It seems that many around here are like me and like to watch, talk about, rank, disect, etc, movies. The last few days have made that very obvious to me. What if we make this a rolling feature down here in OT land whereby someone takes the lead in starting threads based on the movies in the lists that everyone provided? Then we have at it for as long as there is sufficient interest at which point a new flic is put up. It could be open to discuss likes, dislikes, favorites lines, performance comparisons etc.
BTW would give the movie his all important rankings, 1-5 rattles, etc.

I just thought adding a little structure like this would allow the movie discussions to just keep rolling along and add an entertaining feature to the board.

thoughts?

Me too...I just watched the DVD of Cruel Intentions that I got yesterday, first time in awhile I've seen the uncensored version...I love that movie, especially Sarah's role as the utter b-itch! Sexy as hell!

Sorry, I'm not a big fan of that movie. Sarah Michelle Geller? I'm not her biggest fan....sorry.

I do like Selma Blair.

good idea.

just watched Matchstick Men again for the first time in a while earlier tonight.

Cage at his best.
never understood why it did not get more attention than so many of his other films.

Matchstick Men was a great movie. Like you said it for some strange reason didnt get all that much in the way of press.

On the topic of Nick Cage, I hated Lord of War, what a dumb movie. Jared Leto is a terrible actor. Leaving Las Vegas was a classic, but very depressing.
As sappy as it sounds, I loved City of Angels.

How about his all time best though, Valley Girl? Came out in the 80's. What a performance.

I LOVED THAT MOVIE! I haven't gotten it on DVD yet. One of a few of the 80's movies that I love but haven't gotten yet.

I thought Selma Blair did an excellent job as well, in fact the entire cast was outstanding...and I know you aren't SMG's biggest fan because I am...lol!
