Hope that the weather improves by Saturday. They are off the turf and the main track is sloppy for today's twilight card at Churchill.

Fortunately, the track's drainage is among the best in the industry.

On Thursday the main track at CD was sloppy and the races were off of the turf. Today the main track has been upgraded to fast but the turf races have still been moved to the main track. At least conditions seem to be improving, but when handicapping Saturday's races it might be worthwhile to pay attention to the possibility that some races could still come off of the turf. I'm sure that they will make every effort to keep the featured stakes race on the turf, but can't be as certain of some of the others. In any event, it bears watching.
