the 8th of Jan
but I'm am one a dew a dew . . .

MERRY MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND A MOST HAPPY NEW YEAR FOR THE BIG AND SMALL!!!

Being the new kid in the group, it doesn't matter to me. Leave it up to the majority. Whatever is decided is good with me.

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas & an even better New Year!!!

This is the final word I fear
The end of another inglorious year
But we can all hope that 2022 is great
Both we ourselves and our nation deserve a better fate

Can't say that it was a bad year for me personally other than occasional boredom and the niggling physical ailments of advanced age, but it has been hard to watch the struggles of fellow Americans in the past year so it won't be difficult at all to say goodbye to 2021.

Whatever your religious persuasion and even if you have none at all, I hope you have a happy and restful time off with those that are important to you and return in good spirits so that we can resume our friendly competition. Sorry for the bad poetry. I don't indulge my poetic inclinations very often and I'm sure it shows, but I do hope for a better year in 2022 for us all.

Great thoughts and sentiment Cal, and a poem to boot!!! You're a good man Charlie Brown.
