early scratches and changes

http://www.calderracecourse.com/raci...m_changes.html

Main track should be playable...listed as fast....so The Clown Prince of Calder will make this our track of choice today.

Early DD

Wide open 1st race...but I see a little something in the 2nd I like.

#6 PAGAN EVENT in the 2nd...ML 15-1. Was a non-factor in his debut, but was still shown some love at the windows...going off at 8-1. Callazo has given him almost a full month off since that race, but has worked him a couple times in between, including a bullet 3F. Cuts back from 7F to 5.5F and also gets lasix for this race. Would not be surprised to see a much better effort today from him.

the plays

all/6 with an extra press 4,7/6

Warning heavy showers may be heading that way this afternoon. It may not come until tomorrow, but just wanted to give you the heads up.

DAYUM...almost get a $46 horse in the first leg using all. Get an $8 one instead. The 4 ran well at 14-1...just tired a touch in the final bit....he led them the whole way for an awfully long time.

Default Race 3

An off the turf route for N3L.

#1 Drums of Thunder is taking tons of action, but he is going 2 turns for the first time....no thanks.

I am going with #2 Dukes Flying Tiger if he stays at 3-1 or higher.

#1 wins at 9-5 for fun...but may be taken down.

#2 goes off at 9-5 and runs 2nd....so was a no bet for me...and may get put up.

All I know is that TG wise he blew this field away and should improve, could care less since I don't have anything invested since they refuse to try Placido in the mud
