Default Bears-Giants game Sunday night

I'm going to partake in a day of testosterone heaven on Sunday. Have tickets to the game. Friend of mine and I are gonna leave in the morning and get down there to the Meadowlands for simulcasting. They close the simulcasting at 5 PM and then we are gonna go across the parking lot to tailgate with the Giant fan lunatics and then watch the game.

Hey Oracle enjoy the game on Sunday. I'll be rooting for the Giants even
though I'm a Eagles fan. I can't stand the Bears although I like their
head coach Lovie Smith. Giants will have a hard time because thet
have some key injuries. Somebody needs step up big in WR position
since Amani Toomer is done for the year. Also win some money at the
Big M to pay for the outrageous beer prices

Bears by two touchdowns. Not worried.

Sounds like a good day for you though, Oracle.

i don't think you can characterize the entire game as 'crap.'

the first half was pretty nasty. that's the problem they're going to have trying to win a super bowl though, is that in the playoffs you can't just be incredible for one half and get away with it.

though i will say, that there is very little on earth more exciting or dramatic as being a bears fan this season. you spend half of the game hating them and yelling at them, and the other half saying "i knew it."

Honestly, I'm not a fan of either team, but I was pulling for Da Bears last night. Congrats on the win!

That game was all Lovie Smith and Turner. While Turner needs to knock off the sweeps with Benson, whatever he did at Halftime with the O-Line was absolutely amazing. 1st half=2 seconds to throw; 2nd half = eternity.

We are slowly seeing that Grossman is very hot and cold, probably mental, because he was throwing darts the 2nd half, like that ball he threw to Desmond Clark, which has some serious heat on it. He fought through getting smoked hard a few times yesterday also, so all in all, was a great experiece.

Are the Bears the only team that get called for horse collars, the 2nd time we have been called on it and it has been phantom, Briggs just pulled his ass down, far from a horse collar, biggest BS rule of all time....

the one thing that the announcers talked about last night that was spot on was that we're going to have to resign ourselves to the fact that we're going to live or die with grossman. but when he started getting a few extra seconds to get rid of it, can you remember him making a bad throw all second half?

and of course nothing is more fun than devin hester tying vasher for the longest play in nfl history -- the same way in two consecutive years. it really doesn't get any better than that.

that's how you fix things that are wrong though -- they were a totally different team in the second half. that's the kind of stuff that will help them when it matters.
