I think he Mets would handle SD easily. The Dodgers are scary with their young left handers. The winner of that division is going to get a very bad St. Louis team.

why do you care? you're an Angels fan
it's like rooting for the Mets & Yankees
or White Sox AND Cubs
totally unnatural, almost repulsive in a way

Scuds gets to root for 2 teams. Its kind of like betting on a horse coupling. When one is clearly out of the race, you can start rooting for the other one.

Scuds...last I checked, one team was in the AL and the other in the NL. I have no problem with someone rooting for 2 teams like that. I know deep down your Dodgers are your first love. You were pulling for the Angels because of the wager you placed on them. Very legit IMO.

Congrats to your Dodgers.

Well, I pay my f'n satellite bill, and I get both teams' games.I mean you must be a fan to pay $10 to park, and $9.00 for 2 hot dogs(because one wouldn't fill a baby.)I only do that for the Dodgers.Haven't been to the Big A since they made the rock pile.I like the change of pace you get when you go from hearing Vin Scully to hearing Rex Hudler do commentary for the Halos. They both are entertaining, but in very different ways.Ex-Players are funny, because they are total homers.I think the biggest homer is the White Sox guy...."HE GONE!!!!!"

Nothing wrong with rooting for 2 teams. I will pull very hard for the Dodgers to win the World Series.

LOL.You really got to love Gander. He is one of a kind.Who do you think the Dodgers have a better shot against? I'd say they seem to need mediocre pitching to do their best. I think they may match up better against the Mets.I just am sick of Pujols destroying us.

it's evident Gander is a compassionate soul
to each his own I suppose
with my team I practice monogamy (devout loyalty)
to have more than one team would seem adulterous
or dare I say, whorish!

I was only kidding ya before Scuds. I know the Dodgers are your team and the Angels were a bet.

Not too sure Scuds. Both the Mets and Cards are both kind of ailing right now, so it may well be a great time to play either. If I had my choice I'd much rather play the Cards. The Mets, though their pitching isnt all that intimidating, still have 4 or 5 bats that can really hurt you. The Cards flat out stink right now. Pujols cant single handily carry that team against teams like the Dodgers. Carpenter is no gimmee either.

If I were you, I'd be pretty high on your chances to get through. Cant wait for Tuesday.

I think the only people that can relate to the situation are people from 2 team towns.People in Chicago can't even relate(because they are raised from birth to love one and despise the other.)We never had that hate for one or the other taught out here(especially because the East San Gabriel Valley is about the same distance away from both stadiums.)Isn't it Timm? I would imagine it is about the same distance from your house in San Dimas to both stadiums. Then, you add in the fact that Fox Sports West pushes both teams on the same 2 channels, and the Halo Manager was one of the best Dodger team Players ever.I mean if the Halos despise the Dodgers or their fans, then how could they hire one of the Dodgers best team players ever? Seems they wanted that same Dodger team play, and that's probably why I like both teams.Imagine this:Longtime Dodger Manager Tommy Lasorda lived in Fullerton(close to the Big A) during all that time he was managing the Dodgers. If that wasn't toleration for the other team in town, then I don't know what is.

Scuds picks sides,
when its clear outside.

Has he ever suffered like a real fan?

Starts posting about the Dodgers when things get good. When they are bad... I thought he was ripping them a the beginning of the year for all the stupidity tradewise? He would make a great Dallas Cowboy fan.

The Angels bet was a very good one, even with the loss. That is a look at in hindsight, and say do it again bet.
