I used to go to a lot of Ranger/Flyer games growing up as a Ranger fan in NJ through the 80s and 90s. That place was a zoo. Never went to an Eagles game though.

first eagles game i ever went to.. i was 6, think it was 1989.

big snowstorm the day before. we were playing the Cowgirls (they sucked and were just about to get real good and get on their run)

People were pelting the Cowgirls sideline all day with snowballs. I remember seeing them hit players in the helmet.

I looked down at the level below and pointed out to my dad a 60 year old Eagles fan bashing a 20 year old Cowgirls fans' head into the pavement.

I wonder if growing up as a 700 level child contributed to my behavior as an adult.

How'd did that end up working out for you and them?

Did we make some sort of football bet in Tampa?

well in the 90's it worked out real well for the Cowgirls.

Since the 90's, Eagles have had a better run at it for sure.

Unfortunatly, the Eagles are allergic to trophy's so we just are not allowed to win superbowls.

did we make a bet? If we did, I'm sure I'm losing big time. please forgive my faulty memory.

Ok this is just minor but said by I guess a 12 yr old at the Super Bowl in Indy this past year. "You suck Brady, I hope you die!"

that's awesome.

Must admit, I had a very good childhood being able to go to all these games.

Was at the one where Michael Irvin went down for good. the game when Emmit Smith got two chances to go for it on 4th and 1 and we stuffed them. the game when Randall Cunningham punted a ball like 90 yards. It's the games vs the Cowboys and the Giants games that I remember the fondest... well the one's the birds won at least.

that's great.

I cant tell you how many fights I've seen started when someone dares to wear another teams jersey to the game. And I do believe I learned all the curse words from Eagles games.

We are certainly a classless bunch in Philly... but I wouldnt trade my misery of loving Philly sports for anything.

Honestly, I've heard worse than that at Jets games when they were good. That was tame considering the way they played.

I'm a Redskins fan & was at the (in)famous "body bag" game in Philly...it was a bad night. Brian Mitchell ended up as QB. What a game.

Honestly Lori, I think there was a bet, but I don't remember what it was. Way to go out on that limb and assume that your're losing.
