Default Proud Spell's first debuts Thursday in CD 8th

Mott sends Indian Spell, $500k Proud Spell filly by Indian Charlie, for Ben Leon in Churchill 8th. Kind of surprised Brereton Jones didn't campaign her himself..

It's a Bill Mott debuter in a fairly tough looking spot for the level. You can get pretty excited if she runs well.

Interestingly enough, the winner was bred by Brereton Jones.

Not expecting a whole lot from Indian Spell here.

Dolph Morrison/Lon Wiggins winner, who ran off by 10+, with just a 78 Beyer... not a glowing recco for Indian Spell and the rest.
