Default ILLINOIS: Court again upholds casino payments to tracks

Will be interesting to see if these riverboat operators finally relent. They have been fighting this for ages, and with the expanded gaming bill on the governor's desk, maybe there is a compromise to be worked out so that the $120,000,000 (or so?) Can be put to some use.

I would say there is zero shot that they relent. They will keep finding some other court to appeal to and keep it muddled up as much as possible. What would really make them happy is to put the tracks out of business so dont expect them to do anything that works in the tracks favor.
