Default Sex, sex, sex!

Oh sure..... if the title were 'Can You Help Me Find A Horse in Dubai?" would anyone have read this?

Here's the deal..... Ace (most special, favorite horse) had fallen after the face of the earth. Emailed everyone I could think of and after hearing rumors of retirement and being sent off to Japan, finally heard back from Coolmore.

"He's currently in Dubai and will stand in..... in..... INDIA".

Break my heart. India????? WTF?????

Anyway I've hit all the Dubai sites I know of and can't find a thing. Their season begins in early November.

Does anyone know where else i can look?

Have gone here.....
http://www.emiratesracing.com/era/rcNadAlSheba.cfm

and here.....
http://www.dubairacingclub.com/

ANY help is appreciated. Thanks.

PS - If anyone is planning a trip to India next year, kindly pm me.....

And there was me thinking he hadn't done enough to go to stud!!

I know their main racecourse is in Kolkata, so this may help.

Thank you for the link... I appreciate it. Need to find out the Dubai end of things too. Who has him and why, will he run.... very upsetting to be honest. He should have been sent here!

As far as not knowing he'd done enough? Well of COURSE he has.... you know that, right?

One other horse, my dear...... name me one other horse who has come in ahead of Ouija Board, Pride, Azamour, Elvestrom, Warrsan, Touch of Land, the list goes on, and yet who failed to actually win? All those Group 1's and no wins since 2004? Shakespearean in his tragedy... I love this horse to death.

Anyway, thanks.

If you ever hear anything....... (or if you wanna come with me to visit him).

As an aside, Kieren Fallon, on Ace and the Arlington Million (can you tell I'm still upset he didn't get to ride here?).....

Excerpt, The Sunday Times (two weeks ago.....)

“No, I mean, I’ve ridden 12 Group One winners, but I’ve missed a lot. I would have loved to have ridden George Washington in the QE2. I could have had 13, 14, 15, maybe more. There were a couple in America as well. Ivan Denisovich was second in the Secretariat Stakes. Ad Valorem was third in the Woodbine Mile. Ace in the Arlington Million.”

“If you had been riding Ace,” I venture, “you might have gone close?”

“Well, I wouldn’t have been sitting out the back anyway,” he says. “You know what I mean? These guys don’t know the horses.”

“Is it a big deal to know the horse?” “Bloody sure it is.”

“Ace needed to be ridden more aggressively?” “He probably did,” he replies. “I’m not knocking the American boys, but they tend to ride the grass like they ride the dirt. They tend to leave the horse to go at a pace at which he is comfortable. I don’t think that way.”

check out the Elusive Pimpernel there Secretariat over there, one hell of a racehorse. Was set to embark upon racing in UK, Hong Kong, and in the US before injuries forced him to retire before showing the world what he could do. Its pretty much similar to Horse Chestnut except he got to run in the Broward and we all know how that went.

Mr Mellon stands in INdia I think he won some turf stake at Arlington, I think hes a Dynaformer
