Yeah, but sadly they'll be losing in the big game to the Steelers

Using your logic, it wasn't a cheap shot, because there was no flag...

Von Olhoffen sp? was blocked into Carson, but it was when he pulled his knee in, that was cheap...I doubt there will be a rule coming from that hit on Green, Geathers was blocked in the back into him, happens, but he didn't try to detach his leg from his knee like Von Olhoffen did to Carson...

They beat Green Bay, they stink, I hope they could beat Green Bay...NFC North is terrible, so they'll probably win the Division again, but get ousted in their first game...

Typical Bengal fan reply. Just as bad as a Cubs fan (which I am). Perenial losers looking for an excuse for a freak occurance. Judgement calls are what they are. That hit on Green today was much cheaper. He didn't even try to avoid like Zach Thomas tried on Thursday Night. How much distance was between the players on the dive on the block? Fine should be coming. What I don't get is that not one Bengals player has come out to complain about the accident being intentional. Fans only! But then I guess we'll wait for the Steelers-Bengals game. But wait a minute, we waited for Ben to get his in the 2nd half of that game.

If they had all of these rules for QB's back in the 80's, Green Bay would had been using Offensive players to play defense with their cheapshots on Jim McMahon.

I know! I know! Its all just a matter of opinion. I need to let it rest, like everyone else should let it rest. Palmer is back is looking great as we speak.

Exactly, never forget that one guy (I think it was the Eagles player, I could be wrong with this as I was very young) that essentially ended McMahon's career as a decent player when he just SLAMMED him into the turf

It was 1986 or so and Green Bay, not Philly. J Mac threw an interception. GB Def lineman picked him up and body slammed him nowhere near the play. The GB player was Charles Martin. Martin just died a year or two ago (heart or kidney failure?).

No fine and no foul, blocked into the back and no helmet to helmet:

Watching the replay, I thought it was a very cheap shot but I did not know that player had been blocked and did not have control. As far as the late slide... In slow mo, it did not look late at all.

I guess this is one of those things that there is more to than just watching a replay.
